Home Construction & Finance, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Ralph Sama to provide quality building sites and construction financing to area builders.
By 1992, we formed Home Construction, Inc., a construction group to compliment our land and financing activities and began construction of quality homes on both company owned and client owned land.
The company owns developments and building sites mostly in Southern Maine, including the cities and towns of Portland, South Portland, Falmouth, Cumberland, Scarborough, Gorham, Gray, Windham, Raymond, Casco, Poland, Bridgton, Augusta and Phillips.
With the demand for green building becoming more and more evident, we at Home Construction, Inc. are focused on becoming green experts with extensive training, seminars & research. Being a green builder isn’t just good for us and our customer, it’s good for the planet.
